Musicianship is also incorporated into each lesson to broaden the students understanding of notation, signs and symbols to enhance their musical experience and increase confidence. Each lesson offers the opportunity to progress at your own unique pace and partake in the weekly homework activities.

The classes are designed for students wishing to gain a thorough understanding of Basic Keyboard harmony, Chords, intervals, Meter and Rhythm and Pitches. The Modern Musicianship series was created by the acclaimed Helen Hobbs Jordan, an exacting New York music teacher who instructed generations of performers in ear training and theory, including Melissa Manchester, Bette Midler and Tony Bennett.
